Good understanding of SoC architecture, system architecture, and components such as DMA, interrupt engines, CPU, boot devices, and MMU/IOMMU. Knowledge of operating systems, device driver concepts, and the ability to develop bare-metal (no-OS) test frameworks. Understanding of hardware and software development life cycles, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
