Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and execute application development tasks for new products and engineering enhancements; Develop and implement automation solutions while ensuring timely completion of assigned work; Provide technical support for testing, installation, commissioning, debugging, and diagnostics activities; Convert conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation through modeling, simulation, prototyping, and technical calculations; Prepare engineering proposals, technical documentation, and customer presentations; Coordinate with customers, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle; Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery; Ensure compliance with ABB engineering standards and quality processes; Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction throughout project execution
Requirements
BE/ BTech in Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation or related discipline; 1-3 years of application development and support experience; Well-developed understanding of Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems; Demonstrable experience in building strong and enduring customer relationships within highly dynamic and competitive markets; Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment; Willing to travel for site support and commissioning as required
