Responsibilities
Manual Testing of Applications: Test web and mobile applications thoroughly. Verify functionality, usability, and performance. Ensure applications meet business requirements.
Test Planning and Execution: Create and maintain test cases. Design test scenarios and test plans. Execute test cases and document results.
Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify defects and inconsistencies. Document bugs with detailed reproduction steps. Track issues using bug management tools.
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with developers and project managers. Participate in requirement discussions. Provide quality-focused feedback during development.
Various Testing Activities: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Release Validation Testing, Post-Deployment Verification.
Process Improvement: Contribute to QA process improvements. Improve testing standards and documentation. Maintain accurate testing reports and status updates.
Requirements
Manual Testing, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Test Case Design and Execution, Defect Management, Bug Reporting, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
Tools: Jira, Trello, Bug Tracking Tools, Postman (Basic Knowledge), SQL (Basic Knowledge).
Additional Knowledge: APIs and Web Technologies, Databases, Agile/Scrum Methodologies, Automation Testing Concepts (Preferred).
