P1 QA Engineer

RTX (formerly Raytheon Technologies), through its Collins Aerospace business, is hiring P1 QA Engineers in Bengaluru, India. As a P1 QA Engineer, you will work as both a Manual and Automation Test Engineer responsible for testing web applications and ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a highly technical and innovative environment where software quality directly contributes to mission-critical aerospace solutions. You will collaborate with development teams, participate in testing activities, and help build reliable applications used across the aerospace ecosystem.

Perform Manual Testing for web applications; Develop and execute Automation Testing activities; Create and execute Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing; Perform Non-Functional Testing including Load Testing; Validate application functionality and performance; Test REST APIs and backend services; Conduct database validation and SQL testing; Identify, document, and track defects; Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve issues; Ensure high-quality software releases and testing standards; Contribute to improving testing processes and automation coverage.

Manual Testing: Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing; Non-Functional Testing: Load Testing, Performance Validation; Automation Testing: Selenium, Basic Python Programming, REST API Testing; Database Testing: SQL, Data Validation, Query Writing; Additional Skills: Understanding of Web Application Testing, Defect Management, Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving; Good to Have: Avionics Domain Knowledge, Aerospace Application Testing Experience, Understanding of Aviation Industry Processes, Experience working with highly regulated environments.
