QA Automation Engineer

JigNect Technologies is currently hiring a QA Automation Engineer for its Ahmedabad office. The QA Automation Engineer will play an important role in ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance through structured testing processes and automation practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring QA professionals to gain practical exposure to Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), Automation Framework Development, Test Case Design and Execution, Functional and Regression Testing, API Testing, and Continuous Quality Improvement. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and fellow testers to ensure applications meet business requirements and deliver excellent user experiences.

Develop and maintain automation test scripts; Execute automated test suites regularly; Improve automation coverage across applications; Participate in automation framework enhancements; Perform functional testing of software applications; Execute regression and exploratory testing; Verify application behavior against requirements; Validate user workflows and business processes; Create test cases and testing scenarios; Prepare testing documentation and reports; Maintain traceability of requirements and test coverage; Document defects and testing outcomes; Identify software defects and inconsistencies; Log issues with detailed reproduction steps; Work with developers to resolve bugs efficiently; Verify fixes and conduct retesting activities; Participate in Agile meetings and sprint activities; Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders; Contribute ideas to improve product quality; Support continuous improvement initiatives.
