Maruti Techlabs Hiring QA Engineer II (3–4 Years)

Maruti Techlabs is actively hiring experienced QA professionals for the position of QA Engineer II in Ahmedabad. This opportunity is ideal for software testing professionals who have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, Database Testing, and Performance Testing, along with basic knowledge of Automation Testing. At Maruti Techlabs, QA Engineers are involved throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, working closely with clients, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders. This role provides opportunities to contribute to quality strategy, automation initiatives, API validation, database testing, and overall product excellence.

Review business requirements and functional specifications. Analyze technical design documents. Provide meaningful feedback during planning and development stages. Understand project scope and quality expectations. Coordinate closely with clients and internal development teams. Participate in grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings. Attend retrospectives and daily Scrum discussions. Ensure quality objectives align with project goals. Create comprehensive test plans. Design detailed test cases and test scenarios. Maintain test documentation and execution reports. Ensure complete test coverage for all requirements. Perform Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, UI Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, and End-to-End Validation. Identify software defects and issues. Log bugs with detailed reproduction steps. Track defects through resolution lifecycle. Validate fixes and perform retesting. Collaborate with developers during bug triage. Design automation scripts using open-source tools. Support automation initiatives and framework enhancements. Execute automated test suites. Improve test execution efficiency. Track defect density and quality KPIs. Monitor open defects and testing progress. Prepare quality reports and status updates. Support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Strong experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing. Hands-on experience with Postman, REST APIs, API Validation, RestAssured Concepts, and Request and Response Verification. Strong understanding of SQL Queries, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Data Validation, and Backend Data Verification. Knowledge of Load Testing Concepts, Application Performance Validation, and Performance Analysis Techniques. Good to have exposure to Selenium WebDriver, Test Automation Frameworks, and Automation Script Development. Experience with Jira, Zephyr, and TestRail for test management. Experience with Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and STLC methodologies.
