A leading product-based company in Mumbai is looking for a talented QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to join its growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a product-based environment and possess strong expertise in validating software applications throughout the development lifecycle. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, improving testing processes, identifying defects early, and contributing to continuous quality improvements. You will work closely with development, product, and engineering teams to ensure customers receive reliable and high-performing software products.
Responsibilities
Perform functional testing across multiple application modules; Execute regression testing before every release; Conduct smoke and sanity testing; Validate business requirements and user stories; Create detailed test plans and test cases; Identify, document, and report defects; Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing; Execute exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues; Ensure consistent user experience across the application; Participate in release validation activities; Design and develop automated test scripts; Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks; Build reusable automation components; Improve automation test coverage; Execute automated regression suites; Analyze automation execution reports; Optimize test execution performance; Support continuous integration testing initiatives; Contribute to automation strategy and best practices; Continuously improve testing efficiency; Work closely with developers during bug resolution; Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies; Collaborate with product managers on feature validation; Review requirements and acceptance criteria; Provide quality-related feedback throughout development; Support continuous process improvement initiatives; Contribute to overall product quality strategy
