As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in manual testing across various platforms and applications.
Responsibilities
Participate actively in standups, sprint planning, story grooming sessions, and retrospectives. Collaborate with business teams to understand testing requirements and strategies. Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Ensure complete coverage for Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop test scenarios and scripts based on user stories and technical requirements. Perform manual testing across different environments and platforms. Identify, document, and track defects effectively. Provide detailed defect descriptions, reproduction steps, and severity assessments. Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure product quality. Generate testing reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing. Experience across the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working in Agile development environments. Manual Testing of Web-Based Applications. Manual Testing of Desktop-Based Applications. SAP Application Testing. Defect Management and Test Documentation. Data Integrity Testing. SQL Query Building and Database Validation. ETL Concepts. Business Intelligence Solutions. Cloud-Based Data Solutions. Knowledge of Tosca Automation Testing Tools. Experience with Tosca Data Integrity. Knowledge of qTest. Familiarity with DAX and MDX query languages. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
