Job Description
IDX is hiring Quality Engineers with 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. The role involves working on web and mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing test strategies, executing comprehensive testing, validating APIs and databases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The company partners with global brands like Vodafone, Rolls-Royce, and Diageo, offering exposure to enterprise-level applications and modern QA practices including API testing, SQL database validation, accessibility testing, and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and user stories; Design comprehensive test plans and test cases; Execute manual testing across multiple testing phases; Perform API Testing using Postman; Validate databases using SQL queries; Test responsive web applications on multiple browsers and mobile devices; Verify Web Accessibility compliance; Identify, document, and track defects using Jira; Collaborate closely with Developers and Product Teams; Participate in Agile ceremonies; Prepare QA reports and communicate quality metrics; Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases; Drive continuous improvement of QA processes.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance; Strong knowledge of Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory, UAT); API Testing experience with Postman and REST API validation; Database Testing skills with SQL and data validation; Defect Management using Jira; Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies; Web Testing expertise including Cross Browser, Responsive, Mobile (Android & iOS), and Web Accessibility testing; Good communication and collaboration skills.
