Software Development Engineer / C++ Developer

Adobe is hiring Software Development Engineers for its Creative Cloud – Digital Video Audio (DVA) team to work on products like Adobe Premiere Pro and Premiere Rush. Responsibilities include developing new features, building core color algorithms, advanced imaging and video processing, designing software frameworks, debugging, profiling, performance optimization, using AI-assisted tools, and collaborating with global teams. Required skills: strong C++ fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, debugging, profiling, performance optimization, software architecture, design patterns, Git, GitHub Copilot. Preferred: video processing, imaging algorithms, multimedia systems, AI-assisted development, cloud applications. Location: Noida or Bangalore, full-time.

Develop new features for Adobe Premiere Pro; Build core color algorithms supporting professional video editing; Develop advanced imaging and video processing algorithms; Design and develop new software frameworks and features; Perform debugging, profiling, and performance optimization; Improve software stability, scalability, and usability; Use AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot; Build software components for desktop, mobile, and cloud platforms; Collaborate with global engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle; Participate in architecture discussions, estimation, and risk analysis.

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; Strong C++ fundamentals; Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis; Experience with multithreading, debugging, profiling, performance optimization; Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns; Proficiency with Git, GitHub Copilot, profiling tools, debuggers.
