Job Description
Virtusa is hiring Software Engineers for Cloud Support roles focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace troubleshooting. In this role, candidates will act as the first point of contact for resolving cloud-related issues and maintaining system performance. This role is ideal for candidates interested in Cloud Computing, DevOps, IT Support, and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering).
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage support tickets via Jira / ServiceNow
Perform issue triage and categorize problems
Support GCP tasks (VM restart, IAM permissions, Cloud SQL connectivity)
Handle Google Workspace issues (password reset, 2FA recovery, access management)
Execute runbooks for resolving common technical issues
Monitor infrastructure using cloud monitoring tools
Analyze logs and troubleshoot system errors
Ensure system uptime, performance, and security
